Gah, I finally did it! It’s been over two and a half years since I converted to Christianity, and I finally got baptized. Why did it take me so long? WELL I’M GLAD YOU ASKED!!!
I initially wanted to do it about a year ago, but my mom was a little worried and asked me to wait. Now before you make any assumptions, she was just doing her job as a great mother and a Christian. You see, I was still religiously young and really didn’t understand what I was doing. So, I started to dig deeper, pray more, read more, and go to church more often.
It was a last minute decision, but I finally got the nerve to sign up for it. I was ready, but I was caught between honoring my mom’s wish and doing what I wanted to do. But that’s the thing about baptism. It’s the your way of declaring your love for Christ. The keyword here is: YOUR.

Did I feel different?
Yes, a little. I felt like I was glowing and I felt good. Will everyone feel like that? No, it’s different for everyone.
Did it accomplish something?
Yeah, I feel complete and can’t wait to see what else God has planned for me.
How can you apply this to your life?
It’s your life. People will give you advice and will try to tell you what to do with it. But at the end of the day, it’s your life. You do what you think is best for you. BUT… don’t be reckless. It’s your life, but think your choices thoroughly.
With that being said, go and take the world!
